Well by now you have probably figured out that our names are Michele and Frank. We live in the state of Indiana. Michele was born in Rhode Island, and even though she may not admit it; she is a "Native New Englander".
Frank, on the other hand was born in Ohio; and now has returned to the Midwest. Kirsten and Jordan were both born in Indiana.

Michele now works at the Indiana State Prison. After an illustrious 14 year career with Walgreens, and a brief stint with Home Depot; she made a major career move leaving retail management to pursue a career working for the Indiana State Prison as an Human Resource Specialist!

Frank, after spending what seemed like forever in the U.S. Army, in of all things "Military Intelligence" (please, no crude comments), worked for the last nine years for Assurance Technology Corporation. Frank worked as a Logistical Engineer, a Technical Writer, and he developed and trained personnel on Department of Defense, state-of-the-art, Communication, and Command and Control Systems. Frank had also developed extensive technical documentation for numerous Department of Defense, Strategic and Tactical Satellite Systems. Frank has recently made a major career change. He nows works for the State of Indiana in the Department of Corrections. He works as a Unit Manager at the Indiana State Prison.

One of the things we really enjoy as a family is Tae Kwon Do! Tae Kwon Do is the Korean version of Karate, and it is not only an art of self defense, but also teaches self control and disipline.
Frank & Michele are currently the "highest ranking belts" in the family, but Kirsten and Jordan are right behind them.
And yes, I did break Michele's hand at Tae Kwon Do, and I know I will never hear the end of it. If you look real close in the picture on the left, you can see the cast on Michele's left hand!

Here on the left, you can see Frank "breaking" 5 (five), 1 inch boards, and on the right, Michele "breaking 3 (three), 1 inch boards !!!
Don't mess with Michele, she will hurt you real bad, believe me; I know !!!!

Now here are the REAL killers of the family, Kirsten and Jordan.
Here on the left, you can see Jordan "breaking" 1 (one), 1 inch board using a downward "hammer fist", and on the right, Kirsten "breaking 1 (one), 1 inch board also using a downward "hammer fist"!!!
The way we look at it, if we are ever attacked by a "lumber yard" we should have no problems kicking butt!!!!

We recently competed in a "Tae Kwon Do" tournament, and our "family" picture is below. Michele won a First Place Trophy for "sparring", and a First Place Trophy for "forms competition". Jordan won a First Place Trophy for "sparring", and a Second Place Trophy for "forms competition". Kirsten won a First Place Trophy for "sparring", and a Second Place Trophy for "forms competition". And Frank won a Second Place Trophy for "sparring", and a Second Place Trophy for "forms competition". So collectively, we took home a total of 8 trophies!
And here are a few of the trophies that we won, Jordan is so proud of his that he keeps his in his room!

Frank has recently expanded his "Martial Arts Training" to include Kenpo Karate to add diversity to his knowledge of the Martial Arts. Kenpo Karate is the "American Version" of the ancient Japanese art form. "Kenpo" can be broken down into two words, Ken which means fist, and Po which means law. When combined, these words translate into "Law of the Fist". He has recently earned his "3rd Degree Brown Belt" in this discipline.
